52nd Grammy Awards

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will take place today January 31, 2010. CBS will broadcast the event, which will take place again at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. A total of 109 awards will be presented at the Grammy Awards.[1] 99 of the awards will be presented during the pre-telecast portion. Neil Young was honored as the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year on January 29, two days prior to the Grammy telecast.

Beyoncé leads the nominees with ten nominations. Other nominees include Taylor Swift with eight and Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, Kanye West with six nominations, and David Guetta, Jay-Z and Lady Gaga with five nominations. Colbie Caillat, Kings of Leon, Bruce Springsteen, T-Pain, and Keith Urban each received four nominations.

His Own Place in History

Today, Kobe faces the Boston Celtics in what is one of basketballs most storied rivalries. Also, he's 48 points away from surpassing Jerry West as the all time scoring leader for the Lakers franchise. Can he do it in this one game? What do y'all think?

The Freshnes clothing line is a line that has been seen by many and is even sold on plenty sites alot of their shirts are connected with Jordan when i say that i mean for instance they have a shirt that matches perfectly with the space jams that were released around christmas time. Tattoos of the Day

Today's T.O.T.D. goes to Nelly. He doesn't have many but the ones that he does have really stand out to me. I think that they all compliment themselves and are simple, yet fly. My favorite on is the chest piece that he has. It's artwork that makes it look like his chest is ripped open and the logo for the St. Louis Cardinals "STL" is his heart. Now that's love for your city!

You might not know, but this is my big brother Norman Strickland, He iis 23 years old and doing it big in life. He was the first person to graduate from college in the family. He was top of his class,and his major was Business Management.he started off as just an employee at finish Line, but after 2 years he became head manager of his own store. He's in the top 5 in the region. What 23 year old do you know making a salary??? He competing for rookie of the year. I hope he wins cause i dont see nobody better than him. You doing yo Thing N.O. Artist of the Day

Jay Electronica is a rapper and producer from New Orleans known for his use of percussionist film soundtracks as a background for his abstract lyrical style, and his associations with Erykah Badu, Just Blaze and Nas. He produced the first track, "Queens Get the Money", on the 2008 Nas album Untitled. The unconventional nature of much of his music, and the lack of conventional release methods for that music, have since 2007 made him the object of much attention. He is perhaps best known for the piece of music Act 1: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge).

The tattoos of the day goes to hip-hop artist Wiz Khalifa. His whole body torso, arms, and necks are inked up, but his skin is still visible. He has just enough tattoos and they all seem to have a specific, deep meaning. Take a look and you can see. My personal favorite of his is the "412" artwork that is on his chest. All together his artwork is well put together.
